Old Trail

Established in 2004, Old Trail remains one of the most popular neighborhoods in Crozet. This Traditional Neighborhood Development (TND) has four subdivisions, with a mix of townhouses, single-family homes, and a village center.
 
Residents can conveniently access neighborhood businesses in the Old Trail Village Center, such as a coffee bar, Mexican and Thai restaurants, a fitness center, childcare services, and doctors' offices. The centerpiece of the community is the championship Old Trail Golf Club, which also is a popular location for events and weddings. Old Trail also offers a swim club, walking trails, a playground, and more.
 
Old Trail is about 15 miles west of Charlottesville, or a 20 to 25-minute drive. 
 

Western Ridge

With more than 200 homes, this popular neighborhood has attracted new residents since its start in the late 1990s.
 
At the center of Western Ridge is the property’s stunning original farmhouse, which now operates as the Clubhouse. This space is used for meetings and social events. Grayrock is not too far from Crozet’s popular Claudius Crozet Park, featuring plenty of recreational activities and community events. Residents of Grayrock can access two ponds, nature trails, basketball courts, a tot lot, and a gazebo. The five neighborhoods, operating under their own homeowners associations, include The Highlands at Mechums River (three subdivisions), Rockbridge, and The Village at Highlands.
 
Nestled along the tree-lined streets are more than 320 well-maintained properties, featuring large manor and New England-style homes. Development in this community began in the 1990s.
