About Lisa Kirkpatrick

As a third-generation real estate professional, Lisa brings exceptional sales, marketing, negotiating, and business development skills to her profession.

 

After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in economics from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, Lisa spent several years successfully selling records management and financial software to her government clients in both Canada and the United States.

 

Lisa obtained her Virginia real estate license in early 2000 and subsequently became licensed in both Maryland and the District of Columbia. She was a member of a Top 1% team in the Metro DC area spending over 10+ years successfully assisting clients to buy and sell properties in the ever-changing, fast-paced DC market as part of Long and Foster’s McLean and Georgetown offices. In her initial year as a real estate agent, Lisa was “Rookie of the Year” at her McLean, Virginia real estate office.

 

Lisa moved to the Charlottesville area in 2010 and pursued volunteer roles working with the local chapter of the Red Cross as well as the SPCA. She was an active member of the Charlottesville Newcomers Club serving as both Co-Vice President and then President. She also served as the chairperson of her neighborhood homeowner association’s Architectural Control Review Committee.

 

In early 2015, Lisa joined the Denise Ramey Team as a real estate agent and Listing Coordinator. In 2018 she took on the role of Director of Marketing, handling all team marketing, advertising, and social media. In 2022 her role expanded, and she is the Director of Operations for the team, now the #1 team in the greater Charlottesville area.

 

Lisa continues to remain active in the real estate agent community as a member of the Virginia REALTORS® Communications Committee in 2020, and most recently as a member of the Virginia REALTORS® Professional Standards and Grievance Committee for 2022. In 2021 she was also pleased to join her community’s Marketing Committee, applying her social media skills to help promote the community of 2500+ homes up and down the East Coast.

 

In her spare time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband, cooking, reading, golfing, hiking, and being with her two fabulous pups!
